In the 1990's, while setting up manufacturing of Moineau-style progressing-cavity rotors for our marine toilet pumps, we built equipment capable of machining other size rotors, within a range. We use a highly modified application of the famous Leistritz "whirling" system, producing rotors of the finest finish and tightest tolerances.

Pitch is easily adjustable. Presently set up for naval brass, but can be adapted to other materials. We use no coolant (our process is dry) but can add it.
